We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Drift Beds Ltd. This policy outlines your rights and responsibilities in relation to returns, exchanges, and refunds.

This policy complies with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and other applicable consumer protection legislation.

1. Your Right to Cancel (Change of Mind)

Under UK law, you have the legal right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 calendar days from the date you receive the goods.

To be eligible for a refund under this right:

• The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in resalable condition.
• You must notify us in writing (email is acceptable) of your intention to cancel within 14 days of receiving the item.
• You then have another 14 days to return the item to us.

We recommend retaining proof of postage when returning any item.

2. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene, health, or customisation reasons, certain products cannot be returned unless they are faulty:

• Mattresses that have been opened or used
• Bedding or mattress toppers once unsealed
• Made-to-order or customised bed frames (e.g., custom sizes, fabrics, colours)
• Items sold as clearance or ex-display (if marked as non-returnable)

3. Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item is:

• Delivered damaged
• Develops a fault within a reasonable period
• Is not as described or fit for purpose

Then you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under your statutory rights.

You must:

• Notify us within 48 hours of delivery if an item arrives damaged
• Notify us of manufacturing faults as soon as they become apparent
• Provide photographic evidence if requested

We will either collect the item at no cost to you, or issue a return label depending on the product type.

4. Refunds

Refunds are processed:

• Within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, or
• Within 14 days of you providing evidence that the goods have been returned (e.g., a tracking receipt)

All refunds are issued using the original payment method.

If you return only part of an order, you will receive a refund for the returned items only.

Delivery charges will only be refunded if the entire order is cancelled and returned.

5. Return Costs

Who pays for the return shipping?

• If the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, Drift Beds Ltd will cover return shipping.
• If you are returning the item because you changed your mind, you are responsible for the return shipping cost.

We advise using a tracked and insured courier service for peace of mind.

6. Return Address

Please contact us before returning any items so we can provide the appropriate return instructions and address.

Returns sent without prior notification may be rejected.

7. Exchange Requests

If you would prefer an exchange rather than a refund:

• Please let us know in your return request.
• We will confirm stock availability and process your replacement as soon as the original item is received and inspected.

8. Refusal of Return

We reserve the right to reject a return if:

• The item is used or damaged through misuse
• The return is attempted after the time limit
• The product is not in its original packaging or is not resalable
• It falls under a non-returnable item category (see Section 2)

In such cases, the item will be returned to you, and no refund will be issued.
